Lisa J. Allman

Lisa J. Allman, RTE, LPM, APM, SPC, IC Agile Coach Certified, and Air Force veteran, was born and raised outside of Flint, Michigan. Post military service went to college for Computer Information Technology. Lisa started her agile journey roughly 15 years ago as a Software Engineer on a team that transitioned from waterfall to agile. She fell in love with the agile methodology due to having no more 3 month delays before testing work! This opened up doors to the world of testing; writing test cases and plans, setting up test tool folder systems, etc. Lisa was fortunate to be in an organization and team that was empowered to improve and become cross-functional. Lisa found herself a natural tester and enjoyed the ability to learn something new. This led to having a special interest in the test world ever since, working with test teams and managers as an Agile Coach. Lisa has worked with testing in SAFe environments since 2016 and has helped multiple companies transition from waterfall to agile/SAFe. She loves working with people, and helping individuals grow and their teams become high-performing.
