Agile Testers: Extend Your Value in the Team

Add to calendar

Traditionally we use test design techniques as a part of our testing toolbox. We see value in designing more efficient test cases to get a good overview of progress and coverage. Instead, what if we could use our testing skills and methods proactively to obtain a deeper understanding of user needs and help drive our projects? Based on her experiences from healthcare and telecom projects, Gitte Ottosen offers a practical introduction to how you can present new techniques within your agile team to help it deliver maximum value to your customer. Gitte describes approaches—including process cycle tests, classification trees, and state transition tests—to clarify and visualize workflows while providing lightweight documentation of requirements and user needs. Find out how to use these techniques as an active tool for communication and cooperation with users so your agile team will get a common picture and foundation for developing apps that wow your users and customers.
